First and foremost, MCA strives to have an online environment where teachers pray, educate, and truly care about their students.  You can be reassured that, unlike some physical or online classrooms, there will be a behavioral and conduct expectation. We want your online experience to be one that your children enjoy, grow, and excel!  We have LIVE teaching unlike most online programs!  We believe our model can work for most families!

MCA Online Education Model

Mission Christian Academy Online is a two-day a week program for 1st through 12th graders where your child has live teacher instruction with a virtual room of students.  For 2 1/2 hours of instruction per day, two days weekly, your child interacts with the teacher as he/she instructs using our online, vibrant curriculum.  These 2 1/2 hours will be held with an "intermission", an in-between the two blocks of time, for a break.  Also, during the month, each student can receive two, 30-minute time slots with the teacher one-on-one.  The remaining three days of the week, students have projects, tests, and homework that will be assigned by the teacher.  All of the assignments are listed on our online curriculum website for easy access.  Also, for those that are overseas, all the live classes are taped and can be accessed through the online system as well.  Online classes will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Our MCA Online teachers are seasoned professionals when it comes to teaching online.  Many come from backgrounds where they have educated students via other organizations and bring with them the expertise and skill to effectively teach children online.  Each one of them is either a former or current classroom instructor and have a teaching degree.  Currently, our elementary teacher is Angela Vorbeau (pictured above).  She has a breadth of experience teaching online and strives to make authentic relationships with each student.  Our middle school students, grades 6-8, will have multiple teachers teaching.

Yearly tuition for online education is $2750 including classroom instruction and one-on-one instruction.  There will be a very minimal fee for materials.

MCA Online has independent classrooms for 1st-5th grade and targeted teachers for 6th - 12th grade students. A minimum of 3 students is needed for a class to be viable.  We understand that students will vary in classes needed and we can accommodate various grades in the same upper level classes.  At this time, here are the current classes offered:
