MCA Academics

At Mission Christian Academy, we offer an innovative and efficient academic model that allows our students to accomplish in three days what most schools do in five. Our in-person learning takes place Tuesday through Thursday, using a strong, Bible-based curriculum that integrates faith with academic excellence. Mondays and Fridays are hybrid learning days where students complete assigned coursework at home in alignment with classroom instruction. Parents serve in a supportive role, while our certified teachers remain actively involved; providing clear guidance, instruction, and availability for questions and academic support. Our hybrid model upholds high expectations while equipping students to thrive academically, grow spiritually, and engage meaningfully with their families, church, and community.
Academic Calendars

Curriculum
We use a variety of high-quality Christian curriculum designed to provide a strong academic foundation rooted in biblical truth. Our curriculum includes trusted resources such as ACSI, Christian Light, Rod & Staff, and Apologia (Jay Wile). We thoughtfully align our instruction with state standards when they support our mission and values, ensuring our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success, both academically and spiritually.
Educational Support Services
We are committed to helping every student reach their full potential. Our dedicated resource teachers in both elementary and middle/high school provide small group support to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. We do our best to accommodate each student’s unique learning style and ensure they have the tools to be successful. In addition, our Pathfinders program, designed for high-ability students in grades 1 through 6, offers enrichment opportunities that challenge and inspire learners to excel. Every student deserves to be supported, encouraged, and equipped to thrive academically and spiritually.
